Our team at Shooters Depot is proud to be the Chattanooga and North Georgia area’s premier Federal Firearms Licensed (FFL) dealer for gun transfers.

If you find a great gun online in another state, you can order it and have it shipped directly to Shooters Depot as a certified FFL location. We will receive your gun order, obtain its history and conduct a complete background check -- all before you take possession of the gun. (We may even save you certain FFL transfer and shipping fees by ordering your weapon directly from our online store.)

Our FFL experts can assist with two main kinds of transfers:

• Local firearm purchases, where both parties will come to our store to show identification, receipts, and records. This can happen all at once, or the buyer can come in at a later time to present identification and purchase the firearm.
• Long-distance firearm transfers, where the seller will provide a copy of their FFL or copy of valid driver’s license along with an invoice with the purchaser’s information and the gun’s serial number.
