Safety is of the utmost importance at Shooters Depot, so we offer firearms safety classes, and right now we are offering a discounted price on our basic firearm safety certification course!

As we talked about in last month's blog, there are more new firearm owners in 2020 than ever before. We offer firearms safety classes at all levels -- from novice to full tactical training -- led by certified instructors and law enforcement personnel.

One of our most popular certification courses is our basic pistol safety course. This two-hour course is designed for new gun owners or those who have never received any formal training on firearms, in particular single mothers or others interested in learning self-protection. Participants for this course need a semi-automatic handgun or revolver, 50 rounds of ammunition, targets, and eye and ear protection (rentals are available).

The Basic Pistol Certification Course teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude for owning and operating a handgun safely. In this class, participants will learn the rules of safe firearm handling, parts and operation, shooting fundamentals, and range rules to name a few.
